亨里克·诺德布兰德，丹麦诗人，于 1945 年 3 月 21 日在哥本哈根出生。他出生两小时前英国皇家空军刚轰炸该市的部分地区，四十四天后德军军队从丹麦占领区撤离。他在丹麦的不同地区长大 , 其部分原因是因为他的父母认为哥本哈根对他们的儿子产生了不良的心理影响。

Henrik Nordbrandt was born in Copenhagen on March 21, 1945, two hours before the British RAF bombed parts of the city, and 44 days before the end of the German occupation of Denmark. He grew up in different parts of the country, partly because his parents understood that Copenhagen had a very bad psychological influenc e on their son. He published his first book "digte" ("poems") in 1966. It was a success, and as soon as he became economically independent, he began to travel and live for shorter or longer periods in various countries. He has spent many years in Greece, Turkey, Italy and Spain. His first book has been followed by 25 more volumes of poetry. He has also published essays, short stories, two children’s books and two novels. Besides writing, he has studied oriental languages at the university of Copenhagen (Chinese, Arabic and Turkish). He has received a number of literary prizes, among others the so called “Great Prize” of the Danish Academy and the “Nordic Prize” of the Swedish Academy. In 2000, he received the Nordic Council’s prize for the best Scandinavian book of the year. He has also received a life-long grant of honor from The Danish State. A number of his books of poetry have been published in other languages, among others English, Spanish, Italian, Swedish, Dutch, Spanish and Turkish. Now, he lives in Copenhagen with his wife, professor Marja Jäättelä and their daughter Anna Helena.
